Cantina Tani owns a vineyard in Monti, the most important village in the production of Vermentino di Gallura. In this region, most wine growers sell their grapes to cooperatives, but there are only four wineries that do everything from cultivation to brewing in-house. The history of Cantina began in 1980, when they planted Vermentino di Gallura in Monti, a village in the northeast of Sardinia. After that, they gradually began planting grapes for red wine and expanded as a wine grower. In 2008, they established their own winery, which was their long-awaited dream. They are committed to strict selection and winemaking with a focus on fully ripe grapes. They own about 90 hectares of land, of which about 18 hectares are vineyards. The current owner is Tonino Tani. It is a small family-run winery run by his daughters Angelica and Roberta.
