The vineyards are located in a semi-desert climate at altitudes of 1,015 to 1,172 meters in the towns of San Carlos, Tupungato, and Tunyan in Valle de Uco.
The poor, pebbly soil is perfect for growing high-quality grapes. "BraMare" is an Etruscan word used in Tuscany, Italy, before Christ, meaning "longing for, longing for". The name was given in honor of the Italian immigrant Marchiori family, the owners of this vineyard.
