Aromas of early spring strawberries, apple blossom, wet stone and brioche complement this crisp, lively sparkling Pinot Noir from the renowned and historic Serrailo Vineyard.

The Columbia Gorge AVA's terroir, high acidity and low sugar levels provide natural inspiration for making sparkling wines.

This unique and special location in Washington State offers the perfect growing conditions for ripening Vitis vinifera varieties.

This terroir produces wines with excellent concentration and fresh acidity, allowing for long-lasting aging.

Celairo Vineyards is located near the peak of the Cascade Range, on a 1,000-foot bluff of Underwood Mountain overlooking the Columbia River Gorge.

This unique environment combines marine, desert and alpine climates, providing ideal weather patterns for vibrant wines.

The Pinot Noir vines, planted in 1973, are trained on a Scott Henry system with a north-south orientation and the grape bunches are thinned to one per branch to keep yields low.

The soil is volcanic and the vineyards are grown using dry farming techniques.

This sparkling wine is made using the strict Champagne "traditional bottle fermentation" method.

The hand-harvested fruit is whole-cluster pressed without the addition of SO2.

The first fermentation takes place in neutral barrels using wild yeasts.

The wine will be hand bottled and aged for five years, then hand riddled and disgorged in March 2024.

This "Brut Nature" has zero dosage (added sugar).

Syncline is a geological term that refers to a section of rock where horizontally deposited strata are bent by lateral pressure to form a winding valley of rock. The name comes from the Coyote Wall syncline, which can be seen from the winery.

Owners and winemakers James and Poppy Manton's winery and vineyards are located in the Columbia Gorge AVA, straddling Washington and Oregon.

They were also the founding members of AVA in 2004.

The Columbia Gorge is divided into a cool, rain-rich western region and a semi-arid desert eastern region, and they use grapes from this special region as well as grapes from long-established, top-notch growers in Washington State.

Syncline was founded in 1999 by a couple who were making Pinot Noir in Oregon, with just 76 cases, and their winemaking has remained unchanged ever since, with each wine being delicate and elegant.

The winery uses biodynamic farming methods in its own vineyards and has a strong vision of "continuing to produce innovative wines that are environmentally friendly and can be used on a global scale," earning it a high reputation as a limited production winery.
