Complex soil composition including Grenache vines over 100 years old, Mourvedre vines 45 years old, and Gare. 4.0 hectares, one of the best vineyards in the Papes. 8-10 bunches harvested from each vine. 100% destemmed. Aged for 5 weeks in large barrels. Bottled unfiltered. A long-established Papes winery run by the Maret family, which has been in business for four generations since 1912.
The company was first run by Eugène, then his son Fernand, and then his son Michel, and is currently run by their two daughters Véronique and Caroline.
The estate has now grown to approximately 19 hectares, 50 parcels in the vineyards, plus 6 hectares in Vacqueyras.

Currently, under the support of Michel, the third generation owner, the second daughter Véronique is in charge of everything from grape growing to winemaking, while the eldest daughter Caroline is in charge of marketing.
We started our organic efforts in 2008.
Although we are not certified, we make wine based on the philosophy that being organic and sustainable is the best expression of the terroir, and that working in the vineyard is the most important part of making good wine.
