Tasting Comments
Located in the benchlands in the central and slightly eastern part of Napa Valley, the former riverbed soil is a mixture of gravel and rock, which produces incredibly concentrated fruit.
Deep purple-tinged crimson in color, it has strong impressions of creme de cassis, blueberries, and black cherries, with nuances of black tea, forest earth, and crushed rock gradually emerging.
Rich and full-bodied, with concentrated flavor, silky tannins, purity of fruit and elegance, and a long, complex finish.
