From Pritchard Hill's own vineyards and Mendocino vineyards. Fermented in terracotta amphorae, stainless steel tanks, and French barrels that have been used for several years, and then aged with the lees for about 9 months, then blended according to the characteristics of the varieties. Filled with a vivid lime scent, gentle floral and tropical aromas, and a vibrant citrus flavor in the mouth. Characterized by a fresh, pleasant aftertaste and sophisticated style.
Technical information
Vinification: Different fermentation tanks were used depending on the characteristics of each variety.
Ribolla Gialla is fermented in terracotta amphorae to preserve its stony notes.
Fiano is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the citrus aromas.
To make the most of the rounded richness of Greco di Tufo and the mellowness of Arneis and Vermentino, the wine is fermented in French barrels that have been used for several years.
Each is aged on its lees for about nine months before being blended.
Vintage Information
In 2020, there was plenty of rain in the winter, and it was warm, so spring arrived and the flowers bloomed somewhat early, in early March.
The warm, dry summer accelerated growth, with Vermentino harvesting beginning in mid-August. Careful cultivation management allowed the delicate Italian white varieties to develop fresh characteristics, with Greco di Tufo being the last to be harvested.
