From Pritchard Hill's own vineyard No. 95. It is the northernmost of the three estate vineyards and the lowest at 360m above sea level, but it has a unique combination of the oldest and youngest vines. Aged for 20 months in French barrels (63% new). Pure Napa Cabernet Sauvignon blanc, with aromas of purple-red berries, baking spices, black currant and cocoa powder. Full-bodied and energetic, it has a pleasant aftertaste and a mineral feel with hints of iron.

Vintage Information
2017 was a year that required special attention from start to finish due to a variety of weather conditions, but thanks to the efforts of the cultivation management team, we were able to obtain excellent, concentrated grapes.
It was the first rainy winter in a while, and the vines were able to breathe a sigh of relief after the dry conditions up until then.
Spring and summer were mild and the grapes grew well. There were several heat waves in the summer, which accelerated the ripening of the grapes, but in early autumn it became a little cooler and the grapes were able to ripen calmly and fully. They were harvested from September 23rd to October 6th.

Field Information
Pritchard Hill's own vineyard, Vineyard No. 95.
The plot located just below (north) the winery is "Vineyard No. 95" and forms the basis of this wine.
At an altitude of 360m, it is the lowest of our own vineyards.
The grove is planted with a unique combination of the oldest and youngest trees.
There are two soil types. After the andesite boulders were dug up during land preparation, one is Humbright loam, a brownish volcanic soil with hard crushed debris mixed with clay, and the other is Soburante loam, a marl clay mixed with reddish volcanic ash.
Both have good drainage and good water retention.
It produces lively, vibrant and energetic Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The wine expresses the iron and minerality from the volcanic soil.
