Wente Krohn Fermented and aged for 16 months in Francois Frères barrels (100% new barrels) from France. A mix of lychee, lime citrus, iron, and mineral elements like crushed rock. Sticky in the mouth. It has a rich, stimulating energy, and the acidity and minerality are firmly maintained, bringing together the overall balance. The long aftertaste makes you feel as if the scent of flowers will remain forever.

Tasting Comments
After a long and smooth growing season in 2019, we were able to pinpoint the timing of the harvest at our own discretion, resulting in wines with richness, complexity of flavor, and outstanding acidity.
The color is a deep golden yellow reminiscent of the polished brass of antique art, and the aroma is a wavy rendition of jasmine flowers, lemon cream pie, white pepper, and lilac flowers.
It's like listening to a concert.
When you put it in your mouth, a sensual flavor spreads, combining the richness of wool wax, the fragrant flavor of crème brûlée, and nuances of honeysuckle, lychee, lime peel, and white peach.
The rich fruitiness of Chardonnay and the aroma of new French barrels give it a distinctive personality, resulting in a very smooth, coated finish.
For drinking now, we recommend decanting.
Looking forward to further bottle aging.
96P Jeb Dunnuck.com July 2021 This is a "big wine" that has well-blended new oak nuances, but also has excellent acidity.
Expect long bottle ageing.
