Savoy is a mountainous region in eastern France, bordering Italy and Switzerland.
Although the cultivation area is small at only 2,100 hectares, a diverse range of wines are produced with 25 certified varieties.
Due to its popularity within France, exports are very low at just 5% of the total.
Although it is not well known, it is a producer of clear, high-quality wines that allow you to directly experience the terroir, and their wines are used in many Michelin-starred restaurants.
The Viallet family business began in 1966 when Marcel and Yvonne Viallet purchased the 2.5 hectare Domaine Clos Réserve in Apremont AOP and made the switch from being a nursery business to winemaking.
In 1984, his second son Philippe, who had studied winemaking in Beaune, joined the business, and the following year, in 1985, he founded the négociant company Maison Philippe Viallet to spread the wonderful potential of Savoie wines.
Since then, the company has acquired numerous domaines and now owns 110 hectares of vineyards in the most prestigious appellations of Savoie.
Today, the Philippe Viallet Group thoroughly manages everything from production to manufacturing and logistics.
Since 1998, the company has brought together 71 wine producers (totaling 470 hectares) and started operating SICA (Agricultural Public Interest Company) to revitalize agriculture in the region.

The name "Les Flocons" in this series means "snowflakes" in French.
It represents the wine's delicate and pure nature, like snow, and this is also reflected in the label design.
