COMMENT
Urban Winery is a hot topic with a brewery in the Marais district in the heart of Paris. The owner, Mathieu, is a true Parisian who was born and raised in Paris. In 2015, he realized his long-held dream of making wine in the heart of Paris. The grapes he uses are purchased from carefully selected wine growers in the Cotes du Rhone.
The label of this cuvée features a cute illustration of a "Parisian boy" running around the city with a baguette he bought on an errand. In the 1950s and 1960s, there was a brewery in the Bercy district in the southeast of Paris, which blended barrels of wine brought from the Seine and sold it after bottling. The Paris brewery has since disappeared, but they adopted this label as a homage to those good old days. (This is a special label available only in Japan.)
WINEMAKING
Pressed whole bunch. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Aged with high quality lees. Bottled in late March of the following year.
