TASTING
The aroma of red fruits such as black currant and black cherry blends in with a slight hint of wood. This is a well-balanced wine with smooth tannins and a pleasant fruit flavor.
COMMENT
This chateau has been a member of the Bordeaux official classification "Cru Artisans" since 2006. "Cru Artisans" is a group of small producers who are family-run, from cultivation to brewing and sales. They handcraft Bordeaux wines that are full of the individuality of the maker, using artisanal techniques.
Chateau Gadet-Terrefort is located in the westernmost part of the Medoc region of Bordeaux, close to the Atlantic Ocean. The third generation owner, Annai Bernard, is a young female winemaker. Since 2018, she has been converting to organic farming.
WINEMAKING
Fermented in stainless steel tanks using natural yeast. Aged for 12 months in wooden barrels (20% new).
