After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is pressed and returned to the tank to complete fermentation (as it is not mixed with the skins until the end, it has a mild flavor). It is then aged for about 4-6 months in barrels from France and the United States (both new and used for several years). It has a blackberry aroma and impressive flavors like black cherry, blueberry, and cassis. It has a subtle aroma from barrel aging, and is mellow and creamy on the tongue. It also has a mild and pleasant astringency. It goes well with meat dishes in general, cheese, and tomato dishes.
