The history of the Maggio family began in 1906 when Angelo Maggio moved from Genoa, Italy to Lodi, California with his wife Louisa. They first planted Zinfandel on the grounds of their ranch house, then started growing grapes and making wine in earnest, and founded Oak Ridge Winery in 1934. His son Louis and grandson Rudy also participated in the winery management and began supplying grapes to wineries around the country, and now, after five generations, it has become a family-run winery that represents Lodi. This wine is proud of its pursuit of sustainable agriculture and high-quality winemaking, and its uncompromising efforts, and it has put its own name on the bottle. It is a sustainable and vegan-friendly wine made from 100% grapes from their own vineyards and certified by the Lodi Rules. The juicy and rich fruitiness that makes you feel the blessings of the California sun is delicious. It is an approachable wine that will accompany you at any time, whether it's a large party or a quiet night at home.
