This hidden gem that many people don't know yet. I want you to know first.

Among the AOCs of the Coteaux du Languedoc, Pic Saint Roux is not so well known but highly rated. Due to the temperature difference that comes from the height of the altitude, it can be said that it is the best place for grape cultivation. In addition to the minerality unique to this land, it has a rich fruity flavor, so you can enjoy a high-quality taste at a low price. This Domaine de Barrault is a brand from the Coteau du Pic cooperative formed in 1950 from 100 vignerons of Pic-Saint-Loup. Since February 2009, as the first cooperative of winemakers in the Languedoc-Roussillon region with solar panels, we are at the forefront of sustainable farming with an awareness of environmental protection. After that, in 2013, we switched to organic wine, making the most of the original flavor of grapes.

The soil is clayey limestone covered with flint. I did maceration for 21 days. Beautiful shade with cherry red highlights. Pleasantly complex redberry and blackberry aromas with a hint of spice. Silky palate with soft tannins and flavors of leather and licorice. Characterized by a long aftertaste. Recommended at room temperature 16°C with meat dishes, especially roasts, duck, salads and cheese. Concours des Grands Vins du Languedoc Roussillon 2015 gold medal winner.

The Pic Saint Loup of Domaine Barou is a red wine from the region of Languedoc of Languedoc-Roussillon.
In the mouth this red wine is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins.

This wine generally goes well with beef, veal or pasta.
