Bright ruby color with a slight purple tint. Aromas of pink grapefruit, blood orange, and a hint of plum. Red berry fruit flavor like cranberry. The tannins are calm, and the soft fruit flavor and clean, fine acidity can be enjoyed for a long time until the aftertaste. This winery was established in California by Andrew Lardi, a high school friend, and Isamu Kamide, a Japanese-American. All grapes are purchased organically without the use of chemicals such as herbicides, and only grapes from fields that can be transported to Santa Cruz, where the winery is based, are used. Fermentation is done with wild yeast, and the wine is bottled unfiltered and unclarified. The use of SO2 is kept to a minimum during bottling. In addition, all barrels used for aging are used to prevent unnecessary aromas such as wood aromas, and the flavor of the fruit is expressed as it is. A theme is decided for each bottle of wine, and a name, etiquette, and music are decided according to that theme. You can listen to a song that matches the theme of the wine by scanning the QR code on the back label. Recently, the producer has been gradually gaining attention as a natural producer, having been adopted by Whole Foods, a high-end organic supermarket with approximately 480 stores across the United States.
